Opening Night Ceremony

Join us in the Mary Ross Park as we kick off the festival celebrating the life and music of Elvis Presley.  Hear all about what we have planned for the weekend from Master of Ceremonies Irv Cass and see performances from some of our headliners.  Plus there will be other performances and special surprises.

Reflections on Elvis – SOLD OUT

A very special opening night performance to be held at the Brunswick Actor’s Theatre, just down the road from the Ritz.  Reflections on Elvis stars last year’s Georgia Elvis Festival Champion Michael Chambliss and Lake George Elvis Festival Champion Travis Powell.  The show is part tribute concert and part variety show.  Samantha Chambliss will make a special appearance as Ann Margret.

Location: Brunswick Actor’s Theatre (across from Tipsy McSway’s)

Cost: $20 in advance, $25 at the door

Friday, March 14

Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Round 1

Watch as some of the world’s best Elvis Tribute Artists (ETA’s) compete for almost $5,000 in prize money and the chance to represent Georgia at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest held during Elvis Week in Memphis.  Each ETA will perform on Friday and on Saturday.  Each day, half the group performs with tracks and half will perform with the Change of Habit tribute band.  The top ten will compete in Sunday’s finals.  Irv Cass serves as Master of Ceremonies.

Location: Ritz Theater – Brunswick, GA

Elvis is Back… To Back

Celebrating the festival’s return to Brunswick this show will present a look at Elvis’ music in in reverse chronological order. Cody Slaughter’s dynamic portrayal of Elvis in the 1950′s will be preceded by an opening act featuring 2013 Georgia Elvis Festival Champion Michael Chambliss, donning a jumpsuit to perform music from the 1970′s.  Also featuring the Change of Habit tribute band and Master of Ceremonies Irv Cass.

ELVIS: It’s International

Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Ben Portsmouth stars in ELVIS: It’s International. ELVIS: It’s International is the theme of the 2014 ElvisFestival.com series of events and Ben is the only European to have won the prestigious title. Ben will be preceded by Georgia’s returning favorite Ted Torres who will per performing a set from Elvis’ ’68 Comeback Special. Also featuring the Change of Habit Tribute Band and Master of Ceremonies Irv Cass.

Elvis Gospel Contest

Elvis’ rock and roll arose from his gospel roots.  On Sunday morning we take a break from the regular contest for a separate event where the Elvis Tribute Artists perform and are judged on inspirational songs from the King of Rock and Roll’s musical catalog.

Elvis Festival Wrap Party

So it’s not St. Patty’s Day yet.  We had so much fun last year we’re going to pretend it’s the 17th.  Listen to the ETAs, grab a drink and a bite to eat as you say goodbye to your friends and the performers at our Wrap Party.
